Part Time or Full Time Veterinary Surgeon

The Australian Veterinary Hospital is looking to employ a part time or full time veterinarian to complement our existing veterinary team. Applicants should have experience in small animal medicine and surgery. Duties will include daily outpatient consultations, in-patient treatment and management, performing routine surgeries and general input into clinical areas. You should have a veterinary degree recognised by RCVS (or equivalent), a strong sense of client service and communication, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a team. Fluent English skills are mandatory; any other languages are a bonus. Areas of specialisation (orthopaedics, ophthalmology, homeopathy / acupuncture) are a distinct advantage.

Veterinary Nurse / Technician / Animal Handler or Trainee in these areas

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has worked with animals or would like to do so. This full time position comprises a variety of tasks within the clinic, but is focused mainly on the day to day care, handling and nursing of the animals in the hospital. This position would suit both an experienced / qualified person as well as someone interested in training in this area or someone with a medical background in the human field wanting to re-train.

Full Time or Part Time Receptionist

This position includes tasks in reception, administration and sales. You should be an outgoing, friendly and well presented person who enjoys contact with people as well as their animals. You must be fluent in English - knowledge of other languages is a bonus. Previous experience in administrative work or the animal industry is considered an advantage, but is not essential.
